Useful Information

The Local Action Groups (LAGs) are a way of bringing together carers, people with a learning disability, providers, public services and voluntary organisations from the local area. They are concerned with any service which affects people with a learning disability.

Local Action Groups can:

  • Bring people together from across the district
  • Keep their members informed about what is happening locally
  • Sort out problems locally
  • Give local people a voice to help improve services
  • Give providers and services a place to bring news about what they are doing

Local Action Groups will always welcome new members. If you are interested in finding out more, please get in touch with
