DATE: Tuesday 21st May 2024 TIME: 9.30 AM TO 4.30 PM LOCATION: Hamptons Sports & Leisure, Tydemans, Beehive Lane, Chelmsford, CM2 9FH. CAR PARKING: There is a car park on site, which costs £1 for the day. (pay and display machine) This housing conference is for families wanting to know about the various housing option in Essex for individuals with learning disabilities which may include autism and other disabilities too. During the day you will be able to hear about the various housing options and hear directly from families about their experiences of finding the most suitable housing for their family member. At lunch you will have the opportunity to visit the stands from a number of organisations which you may find useful as you start to think about your family member leaving home, from exploring the different housing options to thinking about how to make plans. We are sure that you will go away with lots of useful information at the end of the day (This will include tea/coffee throughout the day and lunch which will be a sandwich, crisps, yoghurt and a drink.)
