This year Carers Right day is on the 24th of November and the theme by Carers Uk is Caring Costs. This Carers Rights Day, we want to give our families information and support, so they can feel confident asking for what they need and can challenge things when their rights are not being met. So over two days, we are traveling across Essex to meet as many carers as we can. Join us at a location near you for a cuppa, cake and help us to strengthen the voice of family carers in Essex.
We want our family carers to know the following:
*About your rights as a carer
*Where to get help and support
*Help us to strengthen the voice of family carers in Essex
You will be able to collect your copy of ‘Looking after someone 2022/23’ published by Carers UK which gives an overview of your rights as a carer and the practical and financial support available.
