We are really pleased to be able to share the details of our up and coming webinars Keeping safe online with the 2 Johns from E-safety training. The webinar will address how to ensure adults with a learning disability (which also may include autism) can keep safe online.
This workshop is suitable for:
• Families who want to make sure their family member is safe online.
• Support workers and PAs who want to help the people they support to stay safe online
• Practitioners who want to know about ways to ensure adults with a learning disability are safe online.
The webinar will cover various aspects including social media, chat rooms, apps; and how to talk about these with people with a learning disability. There will be an opportunity to ask questions.
This workshop is FREE to family members of the Essex Carers Network. If you are a family carer and not already a member you can sign up here. There will be a small charge of £6 to anyone else wanting to attend (that’s the price of a couple of coffees in a coffee shop!)
