We thought it was about time we introduced you to Rita and Paula who joined our team at the end of May. They are both working as assistant coordinators to support Wendy our coordinator in the running of the network. We were able to employ them through funding from Essex County Council’s Meaningful Lives Matter program.
Rita lives in West Essex and is a parent carer to her 2 beautiful school aged daughters. Rita comes to us with experience of working in the voluntary sector working with families of children with special educational needs and disabilities.
Paula lives in North Essex and is Mum to 2 grown up sons one of whom has additional support needs. Paula comes to us with many years of experience working in schools supporting children with SEN and their families and then latterly she has worked supporting adults and their families within the charity sector.
Rita and Paula bring with them a wealth of experience and knowledge and Wendy our coordinator is really looking forward to working with them, to make our network the best it can be.
Like Charlies Angels Rita, Wendy and Paula are ready to get to work, making sure the voices and experiences of our families is heard and influences positive change in Essex.
