The East of England ADASS would like to warmly welcome all carers, carer’s organisations, and commissioners to their yearly carer’s event that will be taking place virtually. This event is for people who are caring for loved ones as well as those who are working with and supporting people who are. ADASS is the association of directors of adult social services. They are a charity that aims to further the interests of people who draw upon social care by promoting high standards and influencing the development of social care legislation and policy. The Association of Directors of Social Services (ADASS) in the East of England are fully committed to improving performance and achieving better outcomes for individuals. There are eleven local authorities serving adult social care in the East of England, one of which is Essex County Council.
The day will be facilitated by Simon Stockton and a carer, Ali Smith. The event is themed around the importance of “Connection, Purpose, and Meaning”.
Essex Carers Network team will be attending to ensure the lived experiences of our families are shared at a regional level. If you want to join us and other carers and carer’s organisations, use the link below to book your place.
