Last month saw the launch of the All-Age Essex Carers Strategy 2026-2030, which sets out six key priorities for improving support for carers across Essex. As a network, we were proud to be involved in the discussions that helped shape the strategy. Many of you also took part in the online listening sessions, where commissioners from Essex County Council heard directly about your experiences of caring and the impact it has on your daily lives.
We hope you’ll recognise some of your own priorities and concerns reflected in the strategy. Most importantly, we’ll be keeping a close eye on its progress and continuing to ensure that carers’ voices remain central to the changes that are made.
