Please note that some of our activities will be pausing during August.
On the first Thursday of every month, carers in North Essex come together for a relaxed craft session. Some people start a new project, while others continue working on something theyโve already begun. Each month often includes a themed activity to spark ideas and creativity.
The group is led and facilitated by Paula, who creates a warm, welcoming space for carers to unwind, chat and enjoy some time for themselves.

Come along for some Gentle Crafting with Paula. We chat about our wellbeing, life in general and our caring role over a cuppa. Tea/Coffee refreshments will be provided and you are welcome to bring along your lunch if you wish.

Start the new year with a calming evening of creativity, all from the comfort of your own home. Through gentle strokes, flowing curves, and simple shapes, Sanntangle offers a mindful winter escape โ helping you relax, express yourself, and create beautiful designs. No artistic experience required!
Led by certified instructor Sam Gregory, these sessions are open to all carers โ whether youโre picking up a pen for the very first time or already enjoy drawing. Itโs a welcoming, supportive space to connect with fellow family carers, take a pause from daily routines, and focus on your well-being.
