Sports For Confidence Cervical Screening Information Booklet

Sport for Confidence have produced this great leaflet with Mid&South Essex ICS to inform women about Cervical Screening. Alongside the leaflet is an offer for women with a learning disability in the Mid&South ICB area to have support from Sport for Confidence to attend their appointment.

Although uncomfortable the smear test should not be painful, yet many women with a learning disability do not attend their screening. There are also many myths which the leaflet addresses to try to support health equality for women with a learning disability.
