Keeping and Feeling Safe
If at any time you, your relative or friend requires emergency services such as police or an ambulance, please call 999.
If they don’t need emergency services but are at risk of harm, you should contact the safeguarding team at your local authority.
High risk
They are at immediate risk of harm or abuse, they need help urgently. (E.g. they cannot feed themselves, or they are being abused.)
Medium risk
They are not at immediate risk, but they are struggling day to day. (E.g. they are struggling to look after themselves.)
Low risk
This is less urgent, but still very important. They do need help to get the care they need. (e.g. they need help to be more independent.)
